.We can highly recommend the services provided by the Sorenson Team. My husband & I interviewed a total of four real estate agents before deciding upon Keith & Carole to help us in the sale of our old home and purchase of our exsisting home. There are a multitude of reasons we opted for them and we were not disappointed in either our expectations or final results.
First and formost-- experience. Years of industry experience have given keith a depth and breadth of knowledge about the real estate market that can be matched by few, if any, in the local real estate market. I've met, talked with or heard about far too many real estate agents who still seem to be on a learning curve at their clients expense. Not so with Keith. He knows every in and out that the marget can offer. He knowws the rules, the laws, the scams, the shenanigans, the protocols and more, and he artfully navagated through it all. The end result? Both transactions (sale and purchase of a home) were almost seamless and surprisingly easy. I remember saying at the end,"Thats it? We're done."
Secondly--professionalism and integrity. He demands it of himself and he demands it of all who work with him. I never once doubted that he was working for me. There were instances where others let him down (as in providing auxiliary services to us), and he let us and them know in no uncertain terms that that sort of behavior was not acceptable. When such let downs did occur, he let us know immediately that it happened, told us what he would do to rectify it, did what he said he was going to do, and then reported back to us. In one case he even paid for the mistake out of his own pocket.
Thirdly--realistic goal setting. Although his appraisal of our home was not the highest, we honestly felt it was the most realistic. It set the stage for a fast sale (one week) in which both buyer and seller felt that they had gotten a fair deal. .... Additionally, the fact that it wasn't overpriced, and his recommendation that we attempt to sell our old home before trying to find a new one (the exception to other agents we interviewed) were addtional indicators that he had our interests at heart and not his pocketbook
Fourthly--lack of pressure. Keith told us when and what to expect with the market activity, but there was never any pressure to get the house on the market 'now'. And in the pursuit of a new home, there was never ever a suggestion from them that we consider increasing our spending limit. Keith & Carole were very careful to let us reach our own conclusions about how much money we wanted to spend on the house we would eventually call home. We looked at many homes in different price ranges, and although we ended up spending considerably more for a home than we'd originally targeted , it was a decision that my husband and I reached entirely on our own and as a result, are completely comfortable with.
Fifthly-- thoroughness. Not only did Keith & Carole employ a multitude of marketing techniques to ensure the quick sale of our home, but they scoured all possible markets available to aid in the search of our new home. They were not adverse to looking outside the conventional home market for possible sources. And indeed we did find our dream home for sale outside the mainstream market. ....Carole was paticularly good in making sure that she was covering all possible bases, checking in with me on a regular basis, constantly asking for feedback, and readjusting the search strategy as needed. Neither one ever balked at a change in request or plans.
Finally-- details, details, details, Keith and Carole took care of them all (and even paid for some of them too!) They are a no nonsense team whom we instinctively knew would take care of us and our needs--and they did!
In conclusion we give our heartfelt endorsement to this wonderful real estate team!
